Euthanasia
Hi all,
As we have learnt in class today, another name for Euthanasia is "Mercy Killing". Some people believe that rather than have their loved ones go through a great amount of pain and suffering, they would choose death instead. To do so, the doctor will have to inject a dose of lethal chemical to assist the quickening of the death process.
There are different opinions to Euthanasia. Some people think that it is cruel because we have absolutely no rights to take away the lives of other people. Some people think that we are actually saving the patients because the intention is to not let them suffer anymore. I dont think that there is any right or wrong answer in this situation.
What do you think? DO you support Euthanasia? Why and why not? Tell me.

I think that this "mercy killing" is depending on whether this patient or "animal" is willing to die or not ...I think that It depend on what situation is the
patient or " animal"...If i mean Example " my Great grandfather is old in age and he might "Kick the bucket" i Think i will not support this ideas...I think sometime there might be a solution for the problem...I think i will not support this idea "Euthanasia"
Unless The "patient" agree on its own otherwise i will not support....

I support euthanasia because it would end the pain fiiled life. It is will be painful if Tiny's owner the biker do not give him a euthanasia.

I object mercy killing as if the living thing have its last wish to be granted before going to the next world(dying).
hi Miss tan,about euthanasia,i really am confused..i don't really know which to pick.Whether its good or bad..But i made up my mind. I think its maybe a bad thing to do as what if when something or someone is going to die and needs to be save by this method called euthanasia,the injection may hurt them more.
So,Miss tan, what is your opinion??

I will not support Euthanasia because there might be another solution for it and there might be a miracle sometime too....
I do not support euthanasia because the doctors or nurses doesn't know the future,what if the patient's body stamina is strong enough to survive or recover from the illness...

I surpport Euthanasia as it is better to die then to suffer great pain.
But there are never gurantees so i kind of surpport it.
i do not agreed on euthanasia because some times,a mirale could happen, and the patient could survive.

i do not support euhanasia because maybe a miracle will happen,i agree with Joey that you must ask the patient first,(if an animal ask the owner...)and i think the patient must discuss with their families,what if a miracle happen?or doctors found a cure?what will happen to the person?actually the person can live longer but the doctors actually killed the patient,if people agree with euthanasia is also fine because they have their own opinion,but i still do not agree on euthanasia...

don't you wish sometimes animals can talk?its...like Tiny's case,if Tiny can talk,you can ask for the animal's opinion on whether it wants euthanasia,what if the animal DOESN'T want it?but u put it to sleep,the animal can't talk our language...

I support euthanasia too because I don't want those people or animals ending a live suffering the pain. But whether you support euthanasia or i support it, it always have no correct or wrong answer like you said it, Miss Tan.

I don't support Euthanasia because maybe there would be a cure after some time.Miss tan,like you have said,a patient might wait up from a coma after ten years.So,maybe we should wait for scientists to create a cure rare diseases.

i don support "mercy killing" because sometime got miracle if,it got miracle but the pet had die had no more miracle.
I do not support euthanasia as i think that there may be a better solution to it or a miracle will happen, we never know right? Most importantly, we must ask the patient's opinion or the owner's opinion in a animial case. Every living things has the right to live...Anyway, there is no right or wrong to it. Just that different people have different opinion to euthanasia.

I don't like Euthanasia because what if there is a cure 10 years later, and the patient or animal can be cured, but the patient or the animal has already gone through 'mercy killing' and there is no hope, no hope, then it's too late.But Tiny is very pain and it should end its painful life because Tiny didn't fully grow...

I support mercy killing as it can let one rest and not suffer. Just like Tiny case, I don't want a kitty to suffer and I would do the same and let the kitty rest..

I agree with Euthanasia because that if the illness of the person is spread,we all will have that kind of illness and if that illness is some kind of rare disease,more people will die.

I think that Euthanasia is something that we cannot support them to do, we must ask the patient if they really need to do it because if we do not ask them and we do it, it would be really cruel. But if the patient like Tiny, we should do it because it is very paintful for them to carry on the pain.
